Introduction
The HDMI Extender boosts or extends the video/audio transmission distance up to 60 meters in HDTV 1080i format, using two CAT-5e/6 cables. This unit provides a convenient and cost effective solution to transmit high quality audio visual signals to HDTVs at a remote location.

The HDMI extender includes two units: transmitter and receiver. The receiver is responsible for equalizing the sent TMDS multimedia data. The transmission distance between sending and receiving can be up to 60 meters at 1080i and 40 meters at 1080p. With equalization control switch on the receiver, users can adjust an equalization level to optimize the transferred signals between the source and its destination.
